I was hoping to have a Stude by now and get a picture of it in front of the plant but that didn't happen.

            Canadian

That's OK about the New project to possibly be built there, but a Canadian will have to decipher/interpret this "Canadian" French for us Yankees!

"On Wednesday, councillors agreed to allow a peer reviewer to vet the required risk assessment, rather than go through the Ministry of Environment."

              John--

There's a nice '64 Daytona HT for sale here in the Hamilton area...this one...

...just on case you're still on the hunt as your sig says! Owners are Hamilton Chapter SDCers who also have two other Studes...hadn't planned on having three at once so the '64 HT is on the market.

I'll give it a try Rich, tho' I assure you it IS English.

                "
Councillor" - is an elected person who serves at the local (municipal, City, District, etc.) level of government and who is not the Mayor.

                "
vet" (from Dictionary.com) - "to appraise, verify, or check for accuracy, authenticity, validity, etc." e.g. An expert vetted the manuscript before publication.

                "
Ministry of Environment" - "ministry" is a term that has come into common use since the 1970's to refer to a department of the government - so, the Ministry of Environment means the government department responsible for environmental quality and/or protection.

                Hope this helps!

Don't forget that most Americans expect us Canadians to always end our sentences with "eh". Just another unique piece of our Canadian English.

I think that saying "eh" was related to the French saying ne's pas?

I lived in Toronto for several years and finally lost the "eh"

Looked at this in the fall, was a little too rough for me. Looks good in the photo, not so much up close.

Well its not a concours car but it is solid . I think the asking price wasn't too far off the condition. What are you actually looking for?
