Beautiful work! Great colors. You're car looks more upmarket than an 'economical' model.

Also, is it just my eyes, but do these share a front bumper with the Hawks?
I never noticed that similarity before.

Whew!...Man that looks great. When I saw the title of this thread, at first, I thought I was going to click on it and find that the car went to the crusher. Although I know what you mean...we really know that they're never really "finished."

Even though you are nearing the end of a long restoration journey...keeping it restored is a never ending challenge. In the coming cruise-in season...I hope you get as much joy giving it exposure as much as I do mine.

That is looking fantastic! That is a real labor of Love to put $15-16.000.00 into a Champion 4 Door, this car must mean a lot to you, I hope you enjoy it for many years, it should outlast most of us!

Do I remember the front license plate bracket wrong on these Sedans? I thought they go above the bumper rather than below.
Or is it a "owner/builder's" choice to put it that way?

This is one of those darned if you do or darned if you don't or, 6 of 1 and half dozen of the other situations!
Below gets hit more, and above blocks the Radiator more.

The best is centered, and they did not make that bracket to do that like the '62 to '66 Lark rear mount was made, maybe one of those would help the look.

When Rich is down to nit picking the license plate bracket...you know you've done a top notch restoration.

Very well done from what is visible in the pictures! Is that a Hamilton-produced Champion? I'd love to see more photos of it.

Love the 56s. I think they are very attractive cars, but they kind of get lost with all of the attention given other model years. The designers should be given a lot of credit creating a look so much different than the 55s, etc. Fantastic job on the restoration!!
