        Same reason people pay big $$$ for those airflow wheel covers. No accounting for taste, but if it makes 'em happy, go for it!

            Some just like those sold about a month ago on ebay. Could not believe how high they went.

                Does anyone know if these skirts are being reproduced or are available in aftermarket? No, I don't want any for my '53 Starliner, but I have someone that is looking for some.

                  Does anyone know if these skirts are being reproduced or are available in aftermarket? No, I don't want any for my '53 Starliner, but I have someone that is looking for some.

                        Here's a 55 Prez HT I saw last April. Those skirts totally ruined the lines of the car. [V]

                        BTW, that IS a 63 Daytona Skytop beside it. [] Yep, I got to drive it. Made me the most envious person in the world! [)]

                            Except for reselling them & cashing in on what I believe doesn't suit
                            the C-K body lines I wouldn't give you $10. for a truckload of them !
