    The proper use of my hand tools is to put them through whatever torture and abuse necessary, to get the job done. Then if they break, return them for free exchange.

      No 19th century safety glasses, respirator, or hearing protection?

      (I have some of those tools... Except for the traveler tool)

          A fellow used to travel around the New England area giving lectures on safety. He only had one eye. He lost the other while an employee for the Westinghouse Corporation. He was walking across the shop floor one day, not even working, when a bench grinding wheel that another employee was operating came apart and took his eye out. He'd say "If I had only thought to wear My safety glasses that day"!.
