I wonder if the bulge going into the cove area is just the way the light is drawn or if it is really intended to be like that. Or do my eyes deceive me?

Sweet, love the body work and the paint accent inside the cove. It looks 3D! Beautiful car.

That IS Beautiful, the only thing that is not realistic in the Painting, is the extreme curve of the Windshield.
