Interior: Would this radio fit a 64 Avanti?

I am selling this radio on ebay and someone is asking me if it will fit an Avanti. I used to have a 63 Avanti and if I remember correctly the radio looked a lot alike. I don't want to give this person miss information. Thanks in advance.

I think it will fit. The major (maybe the only) difference is the Avanti radio uses a red light which should be easily substituted between them.

I also think it will fit. It may be missing a radio-to-dash support bracket, but if it is missing that's no big deal.

Actually the dial glass on the Avanti had a red edge that cast the red glow, the dial bulb was clear. A 63 radio will fit, the 62 radio won't.
