Any suggestions for campgrounds, perhaps nearer the Atlantic coast? Would like full hook ups for a 24' travel trailer.

For those of you in RV/campers/trailers that do NOT need hook-ups, we have the RV park right on the premises of Dover Downs, situated between the Concours field and the outdoor swap meet - right in the middle of EVERYTHING. There are bathrooms (toilets & sinks) directly behind you with hot & cold running water, but NO ACTUAL HOOK-UPS, but they do have a dumping station. Dover Downs can also provide a potable water truck (at a nominal fee). These spots are $35/night or $200 for the entire week (Sunday thru Saturday). For these spots you must contact the RV Park Director at (302) 249-5892 or email DelMarVaSDC@comcast.net.
Killan's Pond State Park & Campground has reserved their entire Loop "A" just for the SDC IM attendees. This is about a 15-20 minute drive each way to and from the Host Hotel. These spots have FULL HOOK-UPS, are pull-thru spots, and have bath/shower houses right behind the Loop "A". The on-site RV Parking area at Dover Downs is now full. Direct all inquiries for camping/RV'g to the Killen's Pond State Park as stated above.Comment

For those looking for a campground closer to the beach with full hookups there is a Jellystone campground in Lincoln, DE. This would centrally locate you between the event and the beach. It is a very nice campground. 302-491-6614Comment
