This wagon has been on CL for many months now and it saddens me that it has yet to find a home.

If I still lived in Ca, I'd be all over it.

I mean, what's not to like for $1000 -it's a 2-door, first year production single headlamp wagon with roof rack and side trim?

It just needs a little motivation (hopefully Studebaker, ala 259 or 289!).

Someone please save it.

Doesn't seem like a bad deal, but if it's been that price for several months, it's obviously too high. Sad but true.

THAT is exactly what I am looking for in a price range I like. Sadly I am tooooooo far away!

That same wagon would fetch at least $2,000 in that exact condition in the Rust Belt states..........even with no motor or tranny.

I live in central New York, and you would have a hard time getting anywhere near $2000 here. And, it's an approximately $1400 shipping bill away.

Still, if it's the exact car someone wants, it might be worth all that to them. But as a general purchase, I think we have seen that the price is, sadly, too high.

I would purchase the car, had I not already made a commitment to the 1951 LC that I had just bought. The LC was picked up not too far away from where this wagon sits. Plus I already have a 1961 Lark that I have been thinking about getting rid of and already have the ultimatum from the “Boss” (wife) that I am not to get another one until I get rid of one. Very, very, tempting…….

I'd love to do a 57 Stude or Packard panel truck with this, but I have too many projects already. I'll probably kick myself for passing on it someday.

I have looked at it. I think its a good deal. It even comes with a sedan parts car.
I was going to get it but I have too many projects already.
If I can help anybody with the purchase, let me know.
