Dean and others,
40 - 50 years ago we had a polka band here in the Minnesota area called Whoopee John. I believe I
am correct that John's last name was Wohlfahrt. Needless to say people used that in describing
when the band will play, If you get my drift.

Growing up on the east side of St.Paul and with my fathers home town of Turtle Lake WS. I went through Stillwater many times as a boy in the 60's. I don't remember leo's malt shop. I do remember going through one of the towns on the way to Turtle Lk. and stopping at DQ for a cone, many timesMark Riesch
