  • Lark Sedan Delivery

    Hi,
I'm new to the forum and have just completed a 59 Lark street rod. While surfing Ebay, I found a post card picture of 4 sedan delivery
Larks parked in a row. I'd love to build a sedan delivery next, does anyone know of one for sale? Has anyone ever actually seen one?

They were actually just dealer installed "kits". The glass was removed and the panels put in its place. Here's some threads on that subject...

I just bought a nice '59 2 door wagon and am considering the panel deliver "option".

Dick S. - I thought that the Masonite panels were put over the existing glass and held in place with clips. That way the vehicle could be used as a panel or a station wagon.
If someone has the brochure on them, you could let me know if my memory is correct or not.

Gary; You are correct. The glass remained and the panel boards were removable. I had photos and descriptions posted here many months ago of my brochure. Yes, I've actually seen two sedan deliveries in my time, one has put in an appearance at the York meet for a number of years. I don't believe it has been there in the past several years.

Go to the search feature in the top right hand corner on this site. Enter 'sedan delivery' and or '59 sedan delivery'. On 12-20-06, Dick Steincamp asked the same question as you, and there were a number of responses. On 12-14-06, Dick posted photos of my '58 brochure. The '58 sedan delivery used the same type kit as the '59-'61 models.

My bad. The glass WASN'T removed.

Frank's brochure is shown in the second of the two links I posted above.

Ahh, but it's got '59 Lark hub caps!

That is really sharp looking, I never thought I would say that about a stripped down, Scotsman! I guess that's why I like it, it's all dressed up with chrome: hood moulding, Hd. Lt. Rims, dress-up kit side mlds. ,tail light rims etc. and a non-Scotsman color! [^]
