May I ditto the prior remarks? I feel fortunate I've got a couple of cracked ones for my 53 coupe! Shipping across the US will be about one tenth of what a "Fair" example will go for![xx(]

There have been a few attempts at repro's. I believe that the very heavy brass grille shells are still available (from Dave T.).
You can widen your search by also including grille shells for 1954 C/K models. All that you would need to do is fill the extra holes in the base section.

I was able to use my original one's but they needed repaired and plated. There were no cracks but lots of pits and a couple that went all the way through. Each piece was about $600 to put in to show condition.Brad Johnson,
