They aren't in N VA but they do excellent work. Who are they you ask? The place is Witmer's Automotive in Ephrata,PA. just outside Lancaster. Their shop is on Farmersville Rd. The phone is 717-859-1078. They do excellent work in rebuilding all things Studebaker and beyond. They've done work on 6 of our Studes.

It has been a long time since I used them, but Fairfax Auto Parts had a very good machine shop that repaired a Studebaker ohv six-cylinder head for me. When I walked in to their shop carrying the head the guy recognized it as a Studebaker head. You might check with them- http://www.fxautopartsonline.com/MachineShop.aspx
If that doesn't work out, I have used a Martinsburg guy who knows Studebaker stuff and is very good. His main job is maintaining the owner's "toys" and he has a major shop just to do that, but he takes jobs on the side.Paul Johnson, Wild and Wonderful West Virginia.
