Not going to last long outside like that. Hope it finds a good home soon.

Yes, it was posted before. I gave a complete response at that time. Maybe you or someone else can find that thread.

This is what I posted weeks ago.

I have known this car since new.
It was originally owned by the mother of the brothers that owned Knight's Garage (Studebaker dealer) in Wappingers Falls, NY. It was owned by a local SDC Hudson Valley Chapter member for awhile. We both had red & white 1958 Packard hardtops that we showed together at many events. His (the one for sale) has a standard cloth interior. Mine had/has the rare optional all vinyl interior.
In recent years (decades), the car for sale has had a bad life of almost constant storage of various qualities and is now in a cover-all primer.
The car has been on Craig's List many times, including currently.
I live one town away from it and have not gone to check it out now. That may tell you enough.

Also, the pictures are not new. The same pictures have been used for some time.

I would love to have one like that. I think it would look nice with an actual satin black paint job. Looks like a fun driver, hope it falls in good hands, but at that price it seems likely it'll stay right were it is.

This car is priced out of the ball park. Notthe worth anywhere close to 7k

Maybe 7k includes a frame off restoration with the price.
