Up at sunup today..
Ran the tractor doing some grading and hauling work.
70 degree's at sunrise... Too sweet..
Wanted to finish the outside work as the weather radar said the rain is coming....
Came into the shop a half hour ago..
It just started raining... But it is still 76 degree's..in the shop.
Supposed to be 45 degree's tonight..
Anyways...I couldn't wait.....:whome:

Cheesy short video...

Chrysler Hemi roller lifters! Now that is something new, at least I've never heard of those being used in a Stude. Puts the zddp to rest for good!

Other people a lot smarter than me have sorted a lot of these details out.

There is a ton of good performance and racing info on Studebakers available over at Sonny's Racing Studebakers website....
http://www.racingstudebakers.com/foo/index.php (http://www.racingstudebakers.com/foo/index.php)

I recommend that site for some great entertainment and education on performance Studebaker stuff.
Sonny has done a superb job of giving the performance Studebaker enthisiast a place to go and SHARE their experience making power with a Studebaker engine.

Very nice. Wouldn't mind having a similar setup on my Stude.

Who made your Headers????.............

Who made your Headers????.............

Built them here at Deep-N-Hock Acres fab shop.
Used flange plates from Rockford Stamping Co. (like them because they are sized for the tubing).
Bought a Jeg's kit, and hacked it up...

Here's some pic's...

Bear in mind that these are for a tube chassis car, but building them to fit is the same for just about any car.
