  • Sheet Metal for 53-54 Four Door Sedans

One of our chapter members is parting out a '53 and a '54 four door sedan. No motors or interiors are available. Doors, rear fenders and a trunk lid are in good shape. Front fenders are straight, but have rust starting to come through in the usual area along the back edge. There is an excellent passenger side grill surround and grill bar from the 54, likely it was replaced at some time. Driver side is complete but somewhat pitted. The grill surrounds from the 53 are unbroken with some pitting. (I snagged the 53 grill bars for my Conestoga.) Bumpers are also pretty nice.

These are located in Northern California, send me a PM if you are interested and I will give you his contact info.

Hey Pat, we could use a driver's door for our Chapter project car. How bout tossin' one in the trunk and running it over to us? it's only a hop, skip, and a country away!

If Santa is travelling West to East I'll ask him to pick it up on his way!

Pat- would you happen to know if these are 'W' bodies or 'Y' bodies?
I might know a guy in either case...

I don't know but could find out. The 53 is a Commander, I would think a Regal as it has the chrome trim on the cowl and doors, in very good shape I might add. It was an automatic car. The 54 is a Champion and is a 3 spd/OD car. I can PM you with the owners number if you want it.

I would be interested in contacting your fello chapter member regarding the 54 4 door sedan. I am looking for an air deflector. Fits under the rad and under the front bumper. Thanks Dave

In case that one is bad- there's a '55 Commander sedan being parted out in my backyard. I'll shoot some pictures later today...
