  • Well, took me long enough, just shy of nine months.

Just shy of nine months ago I bought my Studebaker.
Shortly after I became a member of the SDC Forum.
Last month I attended my first SDC Chapter meeting, Wasatch Mountain Chapter.
And as of today, I am an official Member of the Studebaker Drivers Club.

And here is a comic that is rather fitting.

    Loved it! Welcome to SDC.

It took me two months after finding this place to buy my c,.er.....project; and then another year and a half before I finally broke down and joined.

Welcome, Ethan! I've been in SDC for 38 years but can't remember how long before that I drove Studebakers. It took me a while to realize there was no way I could love driving my Studebaker without loving the people who drive Studebakers.

I just saw photos of your '66 in the album on your profile page. Nice car! Welcome! Have fun! Enjoy the cars! Enjoy the people! I've found that Studebaker folks are the greatest--always willing to help you out!

Check out my new pic. Showing that the headlights, and the blinkers work

                Commander Eddie:
I cannot wait to join some of the National meets! This next one will be too far unfortunately.
But I will keep everyone updated.

                Rockne10 and southbend:
I agree the two go hand in hand. I am happy to have joined.
And they really are the nicest folks. Everyone has been very helpful and kind

We already elected everyone for the coming year. But maybe next time.
Fred has been a great help. He and Terry were the first folks I was able to talk to in the club.
