I think 31 Dictators had 8 cyl. engines.
This looks like a Studebaker 6 Model 54
The serial number is a Studebaker 6, not a Dictator.

Yes, you are both correct. Definitely a Model 54 Studebaker Six. Common error for the 1931 and 1932 Sixes. Everyone sees the Six as generic whereas the Dictator sounds more important!!

Looks like it sold for $21,500. Not a bargain, but I doubt you could restore one for that kind of money.
