The build sheet for the GT says it was originally metallic brown. This car has been repainted and in this photo it looks closer to Rose Mist to me. I am off a bit? (sorry - wife already answered that part)

The last Studebaker my grandparents owned was a '62 Deluxe four door in metallic brown with a taupe interior. If you went to any of the International meets from about 1994 to 2000 you would have seen it there after being restored and driven by Mark Brians of Belton, Texas. Mark sold it @2000 and last I knew it was sold in an auction from a museum in Hempstead, Texas - wish I knew what became of that car...

That is a very Nice looking '62 Pat, it would have been quite sharp in Brown with the Saddle Tan Interior it has..

Unfortunately the Rose Mist Metallic on this Car is a 1963 Color, not '62.

Out of about 50 cars, one of the wish I'd kepts was a 62 Daytona hardtop in brown. My memory would place the color of that car about half way between the rose mist and the brown Hawk.
