51 Champion Horn Button

Hi,
The horn button on my 51 Champion keeps falling off. The rubber insulator pieces below the button seem a bit hard. Also, is there supposed to be a spring pushing up on the button (in addition to the little spring on the wire). I tried putting a large spring on to push the button but it hasn't helped.

If the Champion button is like the Commander button, there is a rubber O-ring (available from vendors) that keeps the button in the ring. Also, the rubber insulator you refer to is the spring that keeps the horn ring under pressure so the horn doesn't blow when you don't want it to. It is also available.
