    what is the stock rim size (bolt pattern) of my truck? What gm rim will bolt on, or do I have to get new rims or spacers to change?

    The BP is 5 x 5" on all post-War Stude 1/2-ton trucks. GMC/Chevy pickups used the same BP for many years, but the GM wheels will not bolt up because of the ridge around the Stude brake drums. Spacers would require longer studs. Another approach is to reduce the diameter of the Stude hubs so they fit the smaller hole in the GM brake drums. This subject has been discussed many times, so a check of the search function might turn up an approach you can live with.
