        Once again, thanks for your daily postings. They always make the forum something to anticipate each day. Sorry about your sno. We are expecting high 80's here for the next several days then "cooling" into the 70's.

            I'm building a vinatge 53 Slot car similar to the above car. Looking for a paint scheme. Wheelwells opened, tires just sticking out of the fenders, a bit lower though... Been thinking of a gold and black for Smokey Yunick colors. And yea...I know.....
            Also thinking of black and dark blue.

            Too bad there aren't more color pictures of these older cars..

              The race track is Fonda Speedway in Fonda NY and the driver is Pete Cory I believe sometime in the 60's or 70's. The Track is still in operation running dirt modifieds.
