I've been preoccupied the past couple of days with the PSW Zone meet in Selma California. I was there with a bunch of parts and while I did OK, it wasn't a WOW! meet for me or any of the other vendors there.[|)]
That said, from my rather limited perspective, it was a nice meet. Lotsa pretty Studes and lotsa constant sunshine.
I don't know if any pics have been put up yet, but the thinking was that you'd appreciate seeing a picture of this creation. I swear to you - it's NOT "Photoshopped" or anything like that![:I] It's on some sorta 80s GM chassis and there was ALOT of effort that went into creating this thing! It was driven to the show - not trailered. And it came from another state to get there. Owner said it rides quite nice whth them sitting right over the front wheels! []

There have been pictures of this posted before (either here or on STT). It looks like a Studebaker attempt to mimic the Willys FC-170.

I saw it here in the Omaha area in 1999 at our zone meet in Nebraska City, or one just like it ,same color and mods, if that's possible. At that time it had a Missouri license plate.A lot of fab work went into it thats for sure.

That is not the only Studebaker modified by the owner. Last year we did one of our garage shirts for his wife for the holidays and there were other cars that were Studebakers and done very tongue and cheek and with care. It is a great looking piece in concept and work.

I, too, have seen pictures of this truck before. It is a great piece of work. I can't look at it too long at a time because I keep drooling on the keyboard! What kind of drive train does it have?

Gorgeous truck. I first saw it here in the Kansas City area at the 2005 zone meet. Lot's of work put into it but fantastic outcome. He stretched the bed also to, I forget exactly, about 9 ft.

I don't mean to insult anybody, or step on anyone's toes, but IMO that is the ugliest thing I've ever seen.[xx(]
