carter carb

    I need help once again. I have been trying to find a carb kit for my car but there is no numbers on the carb just a WE that's it. so I looked in my shop manual an it says its a Carter WE-2108-S but every place I have called says that number does not come up does anyone have a correct number or even a good carb they wanna sell. the carb is a Carter one barrel down draft. thanks for any help.

    You are evidently not checking with Studebaker parts vendors as that number, WE 2108-S, you mention shows up in my supplier catalog. Versions of this carb were used from 46-58 on Studebaker cars and some M-series trucks. So....most Studebaker vendors can supply you with a repair kit. This same kit fits all the aforementioned vehicles. Hope this helps.

      thanks for the help Frank I guess I will go that route with a Studebaker vender I just thought I would try my local parts store first.
