Well, car activities are winding down here in the Northwest as in other parts of the country. Our local Northwest Chapter of SDC took a final tour through the woods along the Coast Range here in Oregon on Saturday. Fifteen cars showed up for the leisurely ride to enjoy the fall colors and enjoy each others company before the cold weather sets in in earnest. The tour ended at the home of one of our members who has property in Gales Creek. We parked all the cars in a line out in a field and then enjoyed some hot food and drink and lots of personal interaction. We were given a tour of the Studebaker treasures hidden behind barn doors and outbuildings. These included a 1928 Commander and a 1922 Roadster. It just doesn't get any better than this.
