  • Headlight assembly gaskets? Anyone have them?

I bought a pair of dual headlight assemblies for the 1964 Lark from SI. The parts book shows some rubber gaskets behind them when mounting on the car. I can't seem to locate them in the SI catalog. Does SI or anyone else have these gaskets? Thanks

I have made a cardboard pattern of needed mounting gaskets & then cut them out of an old innertube with pretty good success. (mirrors, door handles, etc.)

SI has foam gaskets. I bought a couple of sets when I was there in South Bend a couple of years ago. I'm not sure what the number is but they had them in the front of the store.

That old 1940's Part Number tells me those are for Single Headlight Cars.

Duel headlamp seals are 1356208. Twin or single headlamps use 285968. I am sure S.I. will have them.

To find Studebaker parts you should go to Google and type in Studebaker 1356208 and you will find an Austrakian vendor that sells these.
              S.I. does not list them!
