  • Just made booking

Hi All, just made the booking for my first international meet.

Should be interesting, followed by a couple of weeks or so in Canada.

Don't delay in getting your rooms reserved. As of today (Saturday October 12th, 2013) Dover Downs Hotel & Casino has already received over 700 pre-paid room/night reservations for our Meet Week, still 8 months out.

You may NOT book more than 4 rooms per person/credit card. Anyone reserving MULTIPLE rooms will be charged a cancellation fee for each room cancelled, if cancelled less than 30 days out.

Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-711-5882. Tell the person you are calling to make reservations for the Studebaker Convention, and use discount Code GSTUDE1 to get our discounted rate. You may also book (world-wide) on line at www.DoverDowns.com. Click on RESERVATIONS. At the top, click on GROUP CODE. Then enter the code GSTUDE1 and it'll take you to our special discounted rate booking page.

RV Park reservations MUST be made thru DelMarVaSDC@comcast.net or by calling 302-249-5892. The RV Park is a totally separate entity from the Hotel & Casino.

I like that new rule. Multiple booking really bit us big in Arizona when people booked several rooms and then cancelled them just before the meet. Because of this we did not make our required room nights that cost SDC dearly

I made my reservation for six nights last month. I hope to see all of the Forum regulars there.

Count me in from Sunday to Saturday, booked for the NASCAR ride too, 185 MPH will be interesting, as long as we don't hit anything.

          LOL.

I booked our room last week, initially the lady said that she could NOT book a reservation until after the New Year. However, when I gave her the event and discount code, she found it and booked it very quickly. Sounds like a great time.

I have a friend that took a NASCAR ride-along a year ago. He said there is no way to describe how you can feel those tires gripping the track! Just hope it ain't a Toyota!

I'm booked for the same thing. I am not sure how I will be able to get rid of the goofy expression on my face after going 185 mph though. If anyone wants to ride along in a Daytona for the driving tour don't be afraid to ask. I have room.

My wife and I are booked in the host hotel from Monday to Saturday. I love the idea of having the Int'l Meet here on the east coast. It'll be an easy drive from New York. Next step is to register for the meet.

GET THOSE REGISTRATIONS IN EARLY, You have no idea how much it helps the planners when the registrations get in early! Late registrations cause many headaches (on both sides).

I'll take you up on the Driving Tour ride if it doesn't interfere with the Board Meeting.

If anyone that is heading from the north to the south through NJ and wants to convoy from central Jersey the rest of the way, let me know. I am 10 minutes off of the NJ turnpike. I'm leaving on Saturday sometime, doesn't really matter what time and wouldn't mind going the distance in a group. Its about 2 hours from my house to Delaware.
