  • What does this item fit?

I picked up some parts and this one looks like an odd ball. It is a water manifold. When looking at it straight on, on the left the number is 121255 and the letter C is over the letter L. And next to the CL is the number 2. On the right the number says 440385. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

the 440 number is probably a casting number, and it sounds very Packard V-8. Jack Vines would be the one to know for sure. Does it have six bolt holes for the water pump?

How about a photo of it? Does it have a place for the thermostat? If so, how many bolt holes to hold the thermostat housing on - two or four?

        Miscreant adrift in

No deceptive flags to prove I'm patriotic - no biblical BS to impress - just ME and Studebakers - as it should be.

Although the link was correct, it didn't seem to make it a hyperlink. Maybe this will work better.

There are 6 bolts on the water pump. As a side note, this purchase did involve a ton of superchargers and supercharger related items. Parts look to be both Studebaker and Packard. I wonder if this water mainfold goes to a 57 Golden Hawk or a 57 Packard? Thanks for your input.

My 57 Packard that does not have a supercharger set up has a water neck that goes straight up. Might it be that this one is bent so that the upper radiator hose stays out of the way for a supercharger?
