Posting an attempt at a link is better then not posting one at all...

sorta like that '56 GH thread.

Hey, 4X4's attempt made it possible for Carl to research and find a good link.

          Thanks to both of them!

These, and a couple of C cabs have been temping me of late... I'm trying to be strong!

I don't get the "NOT" part. Have you seen the car? Is it different than pictured? It sure looks like a nicely done conversion and the price seems to be a lot less than doing one from scratch.

Cheaper then building one but I've seen a couple of these and the one using a s-10 to build a stude pickup. Just can't wrap me head around them and see the point. Same goes for the 50 ford from a 90's t-bird.

                I agree, Dick.

If someone gave me the car, then offered to install the kit, do the body work, paint, and interior after I purchased the kit, installed the crate engine and rebuilt the transmission, I'd probably take them up on the offer!

Pictures of the engine bay and interior would be nice, and one would be wise to have someone in the seller's area look it over before buying it. All that said, looks like a deal to me.

Unless, of course, someone just doesn't like the concept, and is therefore incapable of being objective.

IMHO, the seller is doing himself an injustice by not showing more pictures and details... and, by listing it on Craigslist, rather than ebay.

I'll be surprised if it doesn't sell very quickly.

...but then LOTS of folks can't see the point of owning a stock Studebaker either.

(different strokes for different folks I guess)

It's only fair- I did all the work for you in the HFI thread...

                          True, so true!

And, I shall be forever grateful for such folks! They have made it possible for me to enjoy several cars I could have never owned otherwise!

What was your evaluation of the quality of work on it, Carl?
