  • Brakes: Hill Holder

My hill holder seems to be engaged all the time I'm wondering if someone knows how to disingage this thing. I've disconnected the linkage from the clutch equilizer to no avail. there is a bleed screw on top but I can't figure away to get at it. I learned to drive in San Francisco so I don't have a need for a hill holder.
    Thanks, Barry

The best thing to do in your case, is to make new Brake Lines to go around the H/H.

Even if you have disconnected the linkage...make sure the lever on the hill holder is in the "off " position. Even if disconnected, if it is left in the wrong position, it will lock the brakes.

Thanks to both of you, I think I've got it figured out.
