I posted I had electrical troubles the other day in my Champ.turns out it was a bad diode,William you hit it dead on. I live about one mile from a fella that re-builds gen. alt. and starters,He has been fantastic on service,attitude and price as far as I'm concerned. it cost Me $40.00 to get my alt. back and going and I'm pleased.if by chance anyone wants His info I can get it to you,or maybe post it here ?
