Every time I see one of these '53 - '54s customized as convertibles it frustrates me that Studebaker never offered them. What a shame. They look absolutely gorgeous.

The root beer colored one looks very close to the George Barris one I saw sold at a Silver Auction in Phoenix about 5 years ago. Always wondered what happened to it.
