  • What thread had the Lark mock-up with '53-'55 windshield picture?

    Hi

After reading the "Chatting with Churchill: Part 4 - The Lark" in the current Turning Wheels, I made the connection between his comments on page 11 and 14 lamenting the dies for the '53-'55 windshield had been scrapped, which would have yielded a cost savings of about $6.00 per car if they still had been available for the production Lark. There was a Lark styling mock-up photo posted here on a thread in the past year or so which shows that feature on the clay from a rear three-quarters view. Does anyone recall what thread that was? Thanks!

I read that article and thought of that photo, too. Imagine the money they could have saved if they kept that arrangement through 1962. It would have delayed the cowl induction ventilation, though.

I recall the thread but can't find the right keyword

      However

TWheels December 2009 page 23-24 show the car I think your talking about.
Its the rear 3/4 shot. No pic of the windshield. You can tell it doesn't wrap around. Just a hint of the 53 dash that's used.
