  • 1950 Champion Vent Window

I need a new vent window for my 1950 champion. I found one on eBay the is NOS but its a 1953-1955 vent window. However after comparing the one I have to the pictures it looks like the same one. Does anyone know if they used the same vent window of if the seller marked it wrong? Also if is the wrong one does anyone know where I can find one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Studebak...cbc8cb&vxp=mtr

47-52 vent windows will fit, except for convertibles and the 52 hard top.

The one on eBay is not the right one for your car.

Since they were styled by the same group of designers and engineers, they all look similar. 53 and newer will not fit.

Rob, You may want to invest a couple bucks in the original factory parts catalogs. Know what may interchange, and when dealing with vendors, part numbers are assuring.

If you need the whole assembly try Roy Valdez. Or C and B Studebaker (Bob Peterson). Or maybe Anne. Or Bob Kabchef. If you just need the glass, you can have it cut locally.

Whole assembly, or just the glass? Driver's side or Passenger (the actual glass is the same, but the assemblies are not.

I should have the vent window. I prefer using tempered safety glass instead of the laminated which can be cut locally.

It's the driver side and I need the glass and frame. For some reason someone painted it and on top of that the frame broke any ways when me tried to get it off the door because it was rusted to the door. However the passenger side looks like new still it just needs the glass replaced glass.
