  • Firehawk?

I just ran across an El Paso Texas Craigslist add that says 1957 Studebaker Firehawk for sale no pics. Firehawk? Was there ever such a bird? I looked on the forum and found no info.

Might check it out anyway. I once bought a pair of Hawks from an ad for a 61 Nighthawk. One was a 61 the other a 56 power hawk. Steve

How about a Hawk that has been in a fire?

EDIT: The only Studebaker Hawks for 1957 were Silver and Golden (models, not colors).

The seller probably is about my age and has occasional brain farts! It happens. No Studebaker Fire Hawks.

Here's my senerio or quess to this conundrum: PO did not like the name "Power Hawk" so he cut the FIRE part off script for Desoto "FireFlite" and replace the Power part of "Power Hawk" script with it, presto! FireHawk.

Reminds me of a friend who ran a garage. Customer came in with a question about his "Goolie" Frind couldn't imagine what the man was talking about until he went to the driveway where he found the man's Pontiac 6000LE.
