Brakes: Hydrovac

From the outside the hydrovac off the Speedster looks like scavenge from the Lowry landfill.
It would appear that my choices are:
1) Clean it up and stick it back on.
2) Rebuild
3) Replace
4) Find an alternative replacement

Please talk to me about this unit.

Actually, they work pretty good when functioning properly. Maybe someone on the forum knows of a alternative unit but I think most of us continue to rebuild them and use them. SI sells replacements on an exchange basis.
