Anyone have any dealer give aways? One of my neighbors got this from a dealer when he bought his 50/51 Commander.

A Stude friend has a 1956 Golden Hawk promotional model. Blue/White, 'Early' two-tone paint scheme. Has stamped metal 'frame', plastic body, frame has the lettering A.M.T. INC. BIRMINGHAM, MICH. No 'windows', no 'interior'. Die-cast metal 'bumpers' fastened to 'frame' with tiny machine screws.........Interesting!

I've got one of the yardsticks that was a driveaway promotional for 1957. It's not your typical flat yardstick - it's square cross-sectioned and tapers from one end to the other. On opposing sides are the usual measurement markings - on the other two sides it says STUDEBAKER-PACKARD SPRING DRIVEAWAY MAY 1957. On either side are the Hawk bird and the Mercedes tri-star emblem.

I have a plastic ice scraper from the '50's. I also have a High Flyer kite from my uncle that shows Studebaker The Common Sense Car from '65. Rob in PA.

That kite sounds interesting - wonder if any other years or makers used kites as promotionals. I've got other things - license plate frames, a vinyl key case and a pencil or two. Tho there were Stude dealers for over 100 years in this town, the only thing with their name on it that I've ever found is a license plate frame - from Switzer and Jordan Studebaker. It came off a '61 Lark that I used to see cruising around town.

Yes, as a direct answer to your question.
Richard Q. probably has more of these items than the rest of us put together have.

A small tape measure that has a dealers name on it.
Also a couple of yardsticks that have different dealers names on them.

My '55 President State sedan which I purchased 2 years ago as a project car came with the original keys and dealer key fobs.

Studebaker Sales Service
Ph. 127 Fort Benton Mont.

I believe there is still a machinery dealer at the same location under a different name. I have no idea over what period they sold Studebakers. As the name implies Studebaker sales was probably not their main source of income. (Fort Benton had a population of just over 1500 in 1955. It's about 1600 today.) It is unlikely that phone number is still valid.
