Before and after pics - 1961 Lark

This is a 1961 Lark I brought home from country New South Wales last year. We had gone to look at a couple of GT Hawks that were too far gone to save but found this surprising solid Lark out in the weather. We still had an empty car trailer so I wasn't going to leave empty handed..... It just had to be saved.

You must have put in the HD Station Wagon front springs unless the Engine is still out, that's a pretty high stance.

You are right about the color. It was fairly common on Australian assembled Larks.

The motor is fitted but it does sit high in the front. I am not sure if the springs are original.

The motor is a 289 from a 1961 Hawk.
