    Is it possible to install a limestone Overdrive Chevy engine, engine 6-cylinder Studebaker Lark?

    Yes, no, maybe. You are using terms which do not have a clear referent in English. Maybe a computer translation program at work?

    Limestone? as related to overdrive?

    So, yes, Chevrolet 194" and 230" six cylinder engines were installed in respectively '65 and 66 Studebakers using overdrive transmissions.

      but if the engine is studebaker 170?

        Studebakers have Borg Warner T-96 Transmissions on 170 Cyl. Engines. the Overdrive Unit would be a Borg Warner R-10 on the rear of the Trans. in place of the normal Tailhousing.

        We do not understand Limestone.

        Yes you could remove the 170 Engine and Trans. and install a '65-'66 Type GM 6 Cyl. engine using the Engine Mount BRACKETS used on the '65 and '66 Stude. but it does require a different Transmission, if that is what you mean.

        What year Studebaker Lark do you have?
