I have a 1960 Lark V8 taxi that is rough but complete. It has been in the family for nearly 50 years so I would hate see it parted out. If anybody is (seriously) interested in acquiring and restoring such rare version, let me know. I am in Indianapolis.

Welcome!
At least it is a V8 taxi, not a six.
Perhaps someone in the Indy area could check it out if any interest is shown (I have no interest.).
Pictures would help. "Rough" means different things to different people.Gary L.

Very interesting! Right now I can not get another project... but I have a 1962 4 door Lark (was severely damaged and I repaired--- so not a show-car) that I have always thought would be a great candidate for the "TAXI" light on top. I do take it to shows and cruz-ins and have lots of fun with it. Good Luck!Ray Stewart SDC

Back in the early sixties, my brother bought five former Lark taxis at one time. They all had six-cylinder engines, were black, and had red vinyl upholstery. I remember they all had zippered compartments, I believe in the headliner. He was a trader, so it wasn't long until they were all gone.

I'll work on getting some pictures posted. The car is tucked in the garage surrounded by typical garage stuff. I drove it across town 3 years ago from a storage unit but I'm sure the gas is like varnish by now.MWM
