  • 1963 Lark 2-door on Seattle CL

I just saw this today. The ad says it's body number 63S-J8 #997 with a straight 6. Does it belong to anyone we know?

    I think it's Tom Noller's car.

Yes that is correct, and nothing was spared to do it right, it should be a very dependable and safe Driver and fun Cruiser as well.

It is a Daytona 2 Door Hardtop.

If that car is half as nice as it looks, its a steal. What a fabulous opportunity to get into a great looking 2 door hardtop for cheap. The 289 4 speed can get dropped in later. Then you could sell the rebuilt 6 and tranny to recoup some of the expense. Imagine that car with duals belching out that unique Stude V8 rumble while the smoke billows off the rear tires. Awesome.

Hey it LOOKS like it could go fast, just don't open the hood or start it up, and spoil the illusion!

The ad has been pulled for some odd reason. All I get is a messags saying, "This ad has been flagged for removal." Pity, I would have liked to see the car. It's always nice to see a Studebaker with an intact paint job.

Yup- the link (in the ad) was the give-away.

Indeed- that's all I see at this end now as well.
              How odd...
