  • HELP! need carb kit for 62 Transtar

    I need help I have a 62 7e 13-131 Transtar, it needs a carb kit, Its a WCFB minus the all important tag! any ideas? Id like to hear the 289 4bbl run this weekend! any input or a number to cross reference would be greatly appreciated

    Studebaker vendors have the WCFB kit, one kit services any of the Stude WCFB's used from 55 through 62 model years cars and trucks.

          There is a link to that website here on the SDC mainpage.

          That 7E-13 is the same as my 289 dually 1 Ton, except mine has a one of a kind, Truck Body Co. built pickup box that is 6 ft. wide & 9 ft. long.
