M5 frame tag and title

Have a 46 m5, my frame tag is worn, I can make out the serial number but there looks to be additional numbers or letters before the five number serial number, I am seeing things or is there suppose to be the model number? I have the DMV coming to check numbers, my serial plate(door hinge pillar) also has the model number M5-13, does this go on the title also? M5-serial# or just serial# or M5-13-serial#, thanks

The serial number on the frame tag should match the one on the door hingle pillar. The other tag is the cab body serial number and also includes the truck model, but it is NOT your VIN in today's terminology. The 13 just indicates the wheelbase of 113 inches. Your VIN should be M5-xxxxxx. See chapters 5 and 7 here:
