  • Rear mouldings on 63 lark

Could I get someone who owns a 63 Lark Daytona original to lift their trunk lid and tell me how many nuts with sealer they have on the rear moulding under the trunk lid opening? Your help is greatly appreciated!
    THANKS

Total of ten, five on each side of fuel filler. Three each side upper row. Two each side lower row.

Thanks---don't they use the outer 2 on each side--out against the trunk side?

        I count seven a side.

Chris you are absolutely correct. My mistake, I went back and looked again with a better light and there are indeed two additional nuts on each end. So 14 total. My apologies.

These pieces are possibly my favorite bits of Daytona trim on a '63. I've contemplated adding them to my car despite being incorrect, just due to how much I like them. The thought of drilling 14 holes into my rear panel has dissuaded me from that thought for now. Thank you.

I concur with 14 total for the ribbed trim either side of gas cap. I thought at first you were asking about the trim on the trunk lid; it has 8 fasteners.
