  • Rear Axle: Does a rearend with TT use the same axle

as a standard 44? My 62 GT Hawk with TT has a bent axle that needs to be replaced. SI shows a # 1558486 but I can't tell from the catalogue if is the same. I can probable pick one up locally but need to know the number. Someone before me did a brake job and left the rear hubs loose and caused some damage.
I am trying to get this thing ready to drive to Colorado Springs.
    Thanks

Seems like a good opportunity to convert to flanged axles.
