Just made it home and glad I went. Paul Revell is an excellent host and the SDC chapter folk are no slouches, either. Found a couple of great parts (carter V8 fuel pump rebuildable core so I can exchange one with Phil Harris) and a couple of nice red hawk armrests cause my doggie uses her's for a step up to the window. Newbie to the forum, Kato, found the meet and was treated to a burn out and launch in Allen Anderson's R2 SuperHawk. That was a treat just watching. It was raining in Barrie when I started out but cleared up before Badenoch. I washed my car last night, so I have no one but myself to blame for the soaking.

Thank you to all who attended, yakked, listened, presented, brought parts, bought parts, took pictures, posted pictures, ate, drank, dragged, and helped clean up.
The hall is booked again for next year - the last Saturday in April for the 41st annual event.

Built that way or not, there are more then a few '58 Packards that I know of set up that way.
Mine isn't one of them~ yet. Sadly, I don't think the one in the photo is either.

I missed a couple of later arrivals. I was spending time with Peter Sant picking his drag racing knowledge. Allen Anderson's GT Hawk was pretty, as always, and a 36 Ford Tudor rolled in. Steve T was the official greeter with his camera and should have lots of pics.Dave Warren (Perry Mason by day, Perry Como by night)

Five days later and I still can't get the smile off my face after the burn out and launch in Allen Anderson's R2! Thanks Dave for putting in the word for me and thanks again Allen for the ride. An absolutely fantastic car Allen's R2 SuperHawk! It was a pleasure meeting everyone at Badenoch and I look forward to next year, hopefully with a Studebaker of my own!
