During our tour yesterday and getting off the middle elevator on the fifth floor I overheard the gentleman in charge of the body plant saying there was a problem with it and had called in a company I believe from Chicago that couldn't figure out what it was. Thank goodness we had two retired maintenance workers who worked on all the Studebaker buildings north of Sample Street.They quickly conferred and told him what was wrong with it. Not bad for not seeing it for fifty years.
