Would anyone on this forum happen to have a 1955 Studebaker passenger car accessory grille guard, (I don't have the AC number), that spans and bolts through the top of the stock '55 bumper guards?
I'm not looking for one for My own car, but a Speedster owner in Switzerland needs one for His. (His guards are already drilled for this....apparently His car had one that was removed by a previous owner) I'll put Him in touch with anyone who has one of these stamped steel/chromed guards for sale....Thanks.

Any one have a picture of what he wants as I have something I think is that but it would need to be re-plated but I think it is nos but with age.

I don't have a pic, but the access. grille guard we're looking for kind of looks like a horizontal 'flying wing', and has concealed brackets on it's underside (at the ends) which allow bolts to pass through these brackets and holes drilled through the top of the vertical '55 Stude (normal) front bumper guards. If You happen to have a '55 accessory brouchure, (which I don't) it's in there!

What you are looking for is called a "Horizontal Grill Guard". It is listed on page 10 of the 1955 Studebaker Accessories brochure.

There is a NOS grille guard on Ebay right now. Is this for Champions?

It may be for a pre-war Champion or it could be aftermarket. Definitely not 1950's.
