I have my 56 Hawk NOS tank now prepared for tomorrow install. I was thinking to use the later mouting and even JB Weld the mount welds.. After looking at the mounts it appears the upper lip may have a little "give" and act as a shock absorber with the spring for the 53 stye mount..

So.. Tomorrow ..trusting Studebaker..I install the third time in 45 days..

Before about 7 coats of Rustoleum..
Good thing the car is bagged..pumped them up..so I can get under without jack stands..

In Stude I trust..
