  • Trivia time!!!!!!!!!!! take a guess what type of Studebaker this is?

Today when Pat (nibbs53) and I delivered the 55 President to the new owner after unloading it and the extra parts he showed us a project he is building , I will post a couple of pictures of the rear and side view and every one that wants to can guess what model Studebaker this started out as, it still has the original frame with a different front clip but not rack and pinion, this vehicle is going to be one stunning piece of work when done, all work was done by the owner and the work is very ,very nice first class all the way, make your best guesses and tomorrow I will unveil more.

The door looks like one from a bullet nose. Did you snap some pictures of the front?

Looks like either a '50 or '51? Possibly a SLC or two door sedan?

What little of the front you can see it looks something of a 47-52 but the top of the cab looks Champ like, and the rear sorta reminds me of Torino/Ranchero!

When can we go over and look at it? I am not interested in buying it, but would sure be cool to view and meet the builder.

Whatever it is, 1947 -1952. It will end up being that year(s) model of the Studebaker Coupe Express. It3 is, after all, a Stude, and the Coupe Express pre-dated the El Caminos and Rancheros by several years. Can't wait to see the finished product.
