I was looking through an old TW (May 2009) and saw reference to a 57 Silver Hawk
Hardtop that was appearantly produced but not sold in North America.

Does anyone have a picture of one, along with production numbers?

There were 368 1957 Silver Hawk hardtops built (120 six & 248 V8). I do believe that the Champion 57G-K3 was only sold outside of North America, the Commander 57B-K3 was sold in North America, just not in the USA. I think that there are a couple of K body 1957 Hawks still in existance in Canada.

Ah Ha! 57B is a Commander 259, so these export Silver Hawk Hardtops must have been 259's, and were not considered President 289's like the 57H-C3 Coupes then.

Back around 1989 there was one in Fremont CA. I saw it in a garage one block from where I lived and it was in great shape. I have no idea who owned it.

Were they a completely different model, or were they a Golden Hawk body with Silver Hawk trim and drivetrain?

I don't quite understand the meaning of your "Different Model" question, I guess YES!
Anytime something major is different like a Coupe vs. a Hardtop or a Six vs. a V8 there will be a "Model" difference.

Sure these rare export and Canada only Cars were Golden Hawk Hardtop Bodies but the complete "FIN" is different, all rear quarter side trim, the Engine, the Transmission, the Dash, all the Interior, door panels, lack of carpet, all nameplates, lack of "Belt Mouldings", Supercharger etc. etc.

They were still Silver Hawks, but "K" Body "Hardtops", not "C" Body Coupes.
Also they were Trim Level K"3" not K "7" as a GH.
